June 03 About the portraitsAll animal portraits are done in colour pencil unless otherwise specified. I have over 25 years of experience in working in pencil, I find they give me the level of detail I like to have in the portraits. The pencils are artists quality, lightfast (colourfast) acid free and very durable. I spray the finished work with fixative to make it even more so and to protect the art.
